TECHNO CENTRAL BRAIN (TCB 20)
Techno Central Brain is a home security robot that monitors the
doors, windows and home lights. The robot makes an alarm when an
uninvited guest arrives home. The TCB
has been built based on the old Commodore VIC-20 computer.

The TCB is able to talk and has a built-in two senses. One of
them is the twilight sensor and the second is the motion switch.
The robot also has a center for manual programming LED lights.
The TCB is constructed of aluminum and plexiglass. The
robot is more than one and a half meters long.
Nearly all circuit boards are handmade. The robot has no
batteries. It runs on AC power. AC power is converted to the
correct DC voltage inside the robot.
The TCB programming language is a Basic. The software loaded
into the cassette station of the robot's memory.
The robot has five digital inputs and one alarm output. The
alarm output can be connected even if the siren. In case of an
alarm robot screaming and trying to run away from an unwanted
guest. |
